Puteri Pacific Hotel is situated at Jalan Abdullah Ibrahim in Johor Bahru in the state of Johor, Malaysia. Guests of the hotel should take note that the property has since been re-branded and was previously known as Puteri Pan Pacific Hotel.
The hotel is massive as it has 500 guestrooms that are able to accommodate a large quantity of guests at a single time. The hotel divides its rooms into a few categories that the guests can choose from depending on their budget. There is the Princess Deluxe that is located from the 4th to the 15th floor of the Princess Wing. The rooms in this particular area are facing the south-west and have the views of either the city or the sea depending on the room you are in. Each of the rooms is about 33 square meters and they have been furnished with mahogany wood that has a pinkish tone to it and the bathtubs have been fitted with a hand shower. For the non-smoking guests there are designated floors to accommodate your needs and they are located on both the 9th and 10th floor, there is also a Japanese floor that has a private lounge on the 12th floor.
There are also the Imperial Deluxe rooms that are located on the newer Imperial Wing of the hotel, they occupy from the 6th to the 12th floor. The rooms are also located at the south-east area of the hotel where you can get the spectacular view of the city or the sea but this will depend on which room you are staying in. For this type of room the size of it is about 37 square meters while the apartment suites are located on the 13th and 14th floor of the hotel. The rooms are furnished with walnut wood that gives the room a bluish tone and the bathrooms have a bathtub with a separate shower cubicle. The 9th and 10th floor again are designated areas for non-smoking guests.
Designed for the business executives in mind the Pacific Floor has rooms that are measured at about 33 square meters and there is also a Junior Suite that is located on the 16th floor of the Princess Wing. The rooms are located in the south-west corner of the hotel and you will have the choice of either the sea view or the city view. The rooms have been furnished with walnut wood that gives the rooms an apple white tone. Guests staying in these rooms will have the exclusive privileges such as check in and check out services, video and facsimile services, private lounge where the guest can relax while having their complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails, there is also even laundry/dry-cleaning of three items per day. There are five rooms on the Pacific Floor that have been designated for non-smoking guests.
The Junior Suites are located on the Princess Wing that occupies from the 4th to the 16th floor. The suites at the hotel are comprised of a bedroom that has a king-sized bed and an attached living room that measures to about 58 square meters. If you choose to stay in these particular rooms then you will be able see the splendid view of the historic Sultan Ibrahim Building as well as the ocean. Each of the rooms has been fitted with VIP amenities as well as the standard facilities that you would normally find in such hotels. All the Junior Suites have been furnished with mahogany wood that gives the rooms a pinkish tone and two of the suites have been specially designated for the non-smoking guests.
The Executive Suites on the 11th to the 15th floor of the Princess Wing are almost similar to that of the Junior Suite. The rooms are located at the south-west corner of the hotel and they measure approximately 65 square meters. Again guests will find that the rooms have been fitted with VIP amenities and the rooms have been furnished with a pinkish tone mahogany wood.
And finally there is the Apartment that is situated on the 13th and 14th of the Imperial Wing. The rooms are facing the south-east corner of the hotel and they measure at about 79 square meters. The Apartment has one bedroom with a king sized bed, an attached living room and a dining area with a kitchenette, however guests should take note that the kitchenette is used only for light cooking and not an appropriate place for you to make 6 course dinner. The facilities are of VIP standards and they are furnished with mahogany wood with a pinkish tone.
The common facilities that you will find around the hotel includes a swimming pool, saunas, Jacuzzis, steam rooms, a Clark Hatch gym, spa and relaxation lounge and a tennis court. The hotel has a couple of F&B outlets that the guests can choose from such as the Selasih Restaurant that serves a variety of Malay cuisines, there is also the Hai-Tien-Lo Restaurant that serves fine Chinese dining in a modern setting. The Paola Mediterranean Restaurant as the name suggests serves food from that region that offers a wide selection of seafood as well as pizzas and BBQ.
