The Zon Regency Hotel was officially launched on the 18^th of April 1999 by the then Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr Mahatir Mohamad. The Zon Regency Hotel is situated by the near on The Zon Johor Bahru, it is wholly owned by DFZ Capital Berhad and the subsidiary of Naluri Corporation Berhad. There are a total of 400 tastefully designed suites and rooms at the 16 storey hotel. The services and facilities provided by the hotel are designed to suit everyone whether they are here for the holidays or on business. The hotel is also a provider of Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition (M.I.C.E.) facilities in the southern peninsular region of Malaysia.

As mentioned before, The Zon Regency is a business class hotel that has a total of 400 guest rooms that have been carefully designed to provide comfort and luxury to its guests that consists of 367 rooms and 33 suites.
