Located approximately 62 km away from Johor Bahru is the Kota Tinggi Waterfall while it is situated 16 km away from Kota Tinggi. The waterfall originates from the top of Gunung Panti and it is about 36 meters high. The water at the base of the pool is cool and refreshing where you can go for a swim to take your mind of the hot tropical heat.

Kota Tinggi Waterfalls is great place for families to have their picnics however you should also take note that the waterfall can get crowded especially during the weekends and holidays. You may want to plan your trip in advance so that it does not clash with the dates that were mentioned particularly if you want to enjoy the serene surroundings of the water cascading down. There is also the splendid view of Gunung Muntahak, a 600m high mountain which you can enjoy as well.

If you are the more adventurous type you can also choose to spend the night by setting up tents at the specially designated areas. Also located nearby is a restaurant that serves both Chinese and Western foods, or you can grab a light snack at the variety of food stalls that have set up business near the waterfalls. There are many parking areas located at the falls so you should not worry about the limited spaces as there is even room to accommodate buses.
